Gifts have been given and received, carols have been sung (not by myself, of course), and decorations have been adorned, only to be taken down once again. The turkey hath been gobbled (pardon the pun), and the waist band hath been expanded.
Yes, this is what the holidays mean to many folk around our great land, and now it's time to get back to work. However, what is work without a little play? While consuming vast amounts of calorie-laden goodness, it came to my attention that I have been abandoning my passion for illustration.
With that said I have made it my New Year's resolution to hit the books (sketchpad) and let the creative juices flow. I might even take to my wacom tablet and paint something via digital media.
So, if all goes according to plan, I will showcase some of my new artwork here, if anyone happens to stumble upon this blog and take a peek.
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and I send my best wishes for 2011. By the way - where the heck did the first decade go?
